Job description
Role overview
An established international business is looking for a motivated HR professional to join its people team in a commercially minded, wide-ranging role. This position is a strong fit for someone with solid HR generalist experience who is ready to move toward a career in HR business partnering.
What you will do
- Work alongside managers and key internal stakeholders to support everyday HR queries and a variety of people-focused initiatives.
- Assist with hiring activities, workforce planning, and recruitment-related projects across different parts of the organization.
- Help deliver employee engagement initiatives, learning and development activity, and early-careers programmes.
- Review people data and workforce measures, spot patterns, and turn findings into useful insights for decision-making.
- Contribute to organisational change work, talent development activity, and the employee journey from start to finish.
- Develop strong working relationships across the business and help foster a positive employee experience.
- Look for ways to improve HR processes, programmes, and day-to-day ways of working.
Experience and background
The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in HR, ideally in a generalist, HR advisor, or similar role. Experience in financial services, professional services, or another complex, commercially driven, matrix-style environment would be especially valuable. You should have a strong grasp of core HR practices across the full employee lifecycle, be comfortable supporting managers, and be confident building effective stakeholder relationships. A data-aware, analytical approach is important, along with the ability to interpret and present people metrics clearly. Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential, and an interest in developing within an HR business partnering path is expected. Knowledge of Irish employment law would be a plus.
Additional information
This is a strong opportunity to join a high-performing global organization, gain exposure to strategic people initiatives, work with senior stakeholders, and continue building HR business partnering skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
