Role overview
Monks is seeking a Junior Creative Producer to join its Performance Creative team in Denver, CO. Reporting to the Director of Creative Production, this person will help drive end-to-end production of direct-response creative for paid digital channels while building experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
What you'll do
- Help convert client briefs into actionable guidance for designers and editor/animators across paid social and digital platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google, and CTV.
- Build working knowledge of platform-specific best practices for short-form video, static assets, and animation.
- Support scoping, scheduling, and trafficking tasks from project kickoff through final delivery.
- Contribute to the creation of pitches, treatments, and proposals with senior teammates.
- Participate in quality reviews so final outputs match client requirements and internal standards.
- Gain experience with basic copywriting and script formatting.
- Track assigned tasks, identify blockers early, and escalate risks when needed.
- Keep project files organized, including briefs, schedules, and feedback records.
- Assist in client communications and learn how to represent the production perspective.
- Own Asana task management for assigned work, ensuring timelines, ownership, and deadlines stay current.
- Maintain clear project plans and help keep cross-functional teams aligned through proactive communication.
- Work closely with designers and editor/animators across multiple time zones.
- Be dependable, responsive, organized, and willing to bring ideas and call out issues constructively.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in creative production, project coordination, or a closely related position.
- Practical experience using Asana to manage workflows, assignments, and schedules.
- A portfolio or work samples are required; internship, freelance, or agency experience is acceptable.
- Strong organizational ability and careful attention to detail.
- Comfort with short-form content and social media channels.
- A four-year degree in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Exposure to paid social creative work, such as Meta or TikTok, is beneficial but not required.
- UGC production experience is a plus.
- B2C or B2B brand experience is a plus.
