Job description

About the Team

The IT Logistics team is responsible for making sure employees receive the devices, peripherals, and secure hardware support they need from their first day onward. The team oversees the entire company-owned equipment lifecycle, including buying, tracking inventory, onboarding, refreshes, repairs, returns, redeployment, and offboarding. It works closely with IT Support, Procurement, Finance, Security, People Operations, Workplace, and regional vendors to keep global device logistics dependable, accurate, and scalable.

About the Role

This position is for an IT Logistics Lead in Singapore who will own and scale IT logistics across APAC. The role serves as the main logistics owner for the region and combines practical inventory execution with regional program leadership, vendor coordination, asset management ownership, contractor oversight, and ongoing process improvement.

The role is highly technical. The right candidate should be able to manage physical inventory and vendor relationships while also strengthening the systems that make those operations transparent and reliable. Comfort with Oomnitza or a similar asset management platform is important, along with the use of AI and automation to reduce repetitive work and the ability to build repeatable workflows that improve inventory accuracy, hardware readiness, high-risk travel execution, procurement visibility, and asset lifecycle controls.

What You Will Do

  • Run APAC IT logistics operations from Singapore, including receiving, labeling, staging, secure storage, cycle counts, device readiness, shipping, returns, repairs, redeployment, and hardware fulfillment.
  • Handle vendor relationships for APAC hardware procurement.
  • Lead the APAC high-risk travel program end to end, covering intake, tracking, escalations, reporting, handoffs, and process improvements.
  • Own a defined portion of the Oomnitza asset management environment and related logistics systems, with responsibility for asset data quality, lifecycle status management, reporting, workflow improvements, audit readiness, stakeholder visibility, and technical enhancements using APIs, integrations, automations, and MCP servers to simplify workflows across logistics systems and automate repeated processes.
  • Apply AI, automation, and lightweight tools to improve logistics operations, reconcile asset records, document SOPs, identify exceptions, and cut down on repetitive manual tasks.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, replacements, refreshes, and urgent hardware requests while maintaining strong data accuracy and security controls.
  • Bring regional contractors into the team as it grows, and manage their SOPs, quality checks, escalation paths, and execution standards.
  • Work with IT Support, Procurement, Finance, Security, People Operations, Workplace, APAC office stakeholders, and vendors to improve the employee hardware experience.
  • Continuously spot and deliver improvements to logistics processes, systems, and regional operating rhythms.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking someone with experience in IT logistics, hardware lifecycle, inventory, warehouse, procurement, or asset management operations in a fast-changing environment. Strong practical discipline in inventory handling is important, including receiving, tagging, staging, cycle counts, reconciliation, secure storage, shipping, returns, and repair flows.

You should have experience with Oomnitza or a similar asset management system and be able to improve data quality, workflows, reporting, and operational controls. Technical experience building or improving integrations and automations is also needed, including work with APIs, webhooks, workflow orchestration tools, or comparable tooling that connects logistics, asset, ticketing, procurement, vendor, and reporting systems.

Practical use of AI-enabled tools to improve workflows, documentation, analysis, reporting, or automation is important. You should also bring vendor management experience across procurement, repairs, reverse logistics, SLAs, escalations, and regional shipping constraints, along with sound judgment on security, asset controls, auditability, and sensitive hardware handling.

Clear communication, strong ownership, and the ability to collaborate across time zones with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors are essential. Candidates should also be comfortable serving as the sole regional logistics owner while building the systems, documentation, and contractor model needed to scale.

Workplace and Location

This role is based in Singapore and requires five days of onsite work each week. It includes hands-on hardware handling and stockroom work, regional coordination across APAC time zones, and close collaboration with global IT Logistics and IT Support teams.
