Role Overview

This position is responsible for helping build a strong culture of high performance and excellent customer service across the store, with a dedicated focus on the IT & Gaming department. The role also supports the Store Management team in achieving wider store objectives.

Key Duties

  • Support the store in meeting sales and profitability goals.
  • Ensure IT & Gaming activities follow legal and compliance requirements, especially those related to safety, store procedures, and incident reporting.
  • Work closely with the team to create a positive experience for both in-store and online shoppers.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent pricing across the IT & Gaming department.
  • Cross-train, coach, and assist team members in product and service knowledge across the department.
  • Carry out sales activities in line with legal and compliance obligations, including responsibilities under the CGA and other relevant legislation.
  • Help improve financial results through inventory control, loss prevention, and managing controllable costs.
  • Support daily store operations whenever needed.
  • Keep building your own product knowledge and capability through online learning and other development opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and market changes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Spot opportunities to improve the role and share recommendations with management.

Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should bring at least two years of experience in retail operations, along with proven experience coordinating or supervising a team’s activities.
