Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Investment Analyst to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely. The role requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours weekly with a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $154 to $210. The selected candidate will play a key role in developing financial models, performing rigorous investment analyses, and collaborating with teams on AI-driven financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain intricate financial models including discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and valuation frameworks to underpin investment approaches.
- Execute thorough financial and investment analysis to evaluate business opportunities and potential risks to aid strategic decisions.
- Generate detailed and punctual financial reports, forecasts, and presentations intended for stakeholders to support strategic discussions.
- Analyze extensive datasets to extract meaningful insights that assist capital market and investment decision-making processes.
- Keep abreast of market trends, financial developments, and advancements in fintech to continually enhance investment strategies.
- Work alongside cross-disciplinary teams to bolster AI-driven financial projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience in financial or investment analysis or capital markets, with at least 36 months of relevant expertise.
- Advanced skills in Excel, particularly for financial modeling and data evaluation.
- Strong command of valuation methodologies including DCF, LBO, and forecasting techniques.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in preparing and delivering comprehensive financial reports.
