About the Company
MAX is focused on advancing mobility across Africa and selected emerging markets by making transportation safer, more affordable, easier to access, and environmentally sustainable. The company combines technology, clean-energy infrastructure, and financial tools to support commercial drivers and transport operators with vehicle subscription services, insurance, digital wallets, and e-hailing solutions.
From a starting base of 200 drivers in 2015, MAX has expanded to support more than 55,000 riders, referred to as Champions, across Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon, with plans to expand further across the continent. The business has also moved from low-emission vehicles into a full EV strategy, including solar-powered battery swap infrastructure and a goal of deploying over 10,000 electric vehicles across Nigeria and Ghana by 2025.
MAX operates with values centered on transparency, integrity, initiative, partnership, and safety. The organization emphasizes teamwork, innovation, learning, and impact-driven execution.
