Job description
About the Role
RH is built around a strong point of view on taste, with an ambition to scale that standard across a broad and influential platform. The brand brings together leading designers, artisans, manufacturers, and creative talent to shape a curated world of luxury home furnishings. Its vision extends beyond product curation into the creation and sale of spaces, with a connected ecosystem of products, places, and services that reinforces RH as a global voice in taste, place making, and design leadership.
At RH, people are considered the company’s greatest strength. The organization looks for energetic, thoughtful, and creative individuals who bring initiative, resilience, and a collaborative mindset. RH values team-oriented professionals who focus on solving problems, building relationships, and contributing to a high-performing culture.
Interior Designers at RH are central to the client experience inside an RH Gallery. In this role, you will partner with Lead Designers and Gallery Leadership to serve walk-in clientele, deliver premium design services, and help shape a refined luxury experience. The position suits someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a genuine passion for interiors and the luxury design world.

- Deliver a high-end design experience for clients through RH interior design services.
- Apply the RH design philosophy to residential interior design projects.
- Handle smaller design assignments independently and with attention to detail.
- Assist on larger projects alongside the Interior Design team.
- Create polished presentations and clearly communicate design ideas, spatial plans, and product choices.
- Guide the client journey from consultation through delivery and site visits.
- Work toward and help achieve financial targets.
- Represent the RH brand through professional communication, presentation, and conduct.
- Stay engaged with the luxury furnishings and interior design industry.
- Support the Gallery’s visual standards and overall quality expectations.
Requirements

- A professional portfolio must be available.
- Previous hands-on experience with interior installation is preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related space-planning or rendering tools is preferred.
- Strong artistic ability, including hand sketching and rendering, is preferred.
- Highly organized, strategic, and focused on measurable results.
- Strong commitment to quality and excellent attention to detail.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for growing a successful interior design business.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Comfort using Mac systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google applications.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- Ability to lift and move small to medium items weighing up to 25 lbs using proper equipment and technique.
- Ability to move efficiently through the gallery floor, stock room, and office.
- This role involves extended periods of standing, as well as twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
