Job Role Overview

The Installer at JD.com is responsible for delivering and installing various products including home appliances, furniture, and electronic devices at customer premises. Ensuring professional setups and customer satisfaction is central to this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver items carefully to homes or businesses.
• Unpack, assemble, and install products in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company standards.
• Perform pre-installation inspections and test products after installation to confirm functionality.
• Provide customers with guidance on usage, upkeep, and basic troubleshooting.
• Offer courteous and professional customer service to address concerns and questions.
• Complete required installation documentation including reports and feedback forms.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper condition.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with company policies.
• Work collaboratively with dispatch and customer support teams to ensure timely service.
• Report any defects or damages detected during installation.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or certification training in appliance repair, electronics installation, or similar fields advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in product installation, assembly, or related roles.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude for problem-solving.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Physical ability to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Familiar with manual and powered tools.
• Independent work capability and effective time management.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
