Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar, for an Information Technology Support Specialist. The role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of the company's IT infrastructure by providing comprehensive technical support. The specialist will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, managing desktop systems, and offering help desk assistance. Key duties include performing system updates, addressing user inquiries, and supporting internal teams with various IT-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, printers, scanners, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals.
  • Provide support for and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Wi-Fi, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and overall network infrastructure.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and other network security devices.
  • Install and set up Ruijee network switches, routers, access points, and manage internet connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers.
  • Set up, configure, and support CCTV camera systems, Network Video Recorders (NVR), and related monitoring solutions.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and recording problems with CCTV systems.
  • Install, configure, and provide technical support for Yealink IP phones and the broader call center operations and telephony infrastructure.
  • Support Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems, SIP trunks, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) configurations, and call routing.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and track asset records.
  • Manage IT racks, patch panels, ensure proper cable management, and adhere to labeling standards.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of rack layouts and network connectivity.
  • Offer support for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), booking platforms, ticketing systems, and other business applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT Support and System Administration.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Fortinet Firewalls, CCTV systems, and IP Telephony.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Previous experience supporting multi-site environments is advantageous.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified (M365 / Windows Server MCSA)
  • Fortinet NSE Certification
  • CCNA
  • ITIL Foundation
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+

Soft Skills

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with the capacity to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals and effectively manage tasks under pressure.
