Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive IT support specialist to keep service-center technology running smoothly by delivering hands-on assistance directly on the floor. The role focuses on fast troubleshooting, immediate intervention for urgent issues, and minimizing interruptions to operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Move across the service center floor to spot and resolve IT problems before they are formally raised as tickets.
  • Respond quickly to urgent or critical incidents that affect several agents at once.
  • Carry out rapid swaps and replacements for hardware such as headsets, cables, peripherals, and similar devices.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with routine technology-related needs throughout the workday.
  • Keep operational disruption to a minimum through prompt response and proactive problem solving.

Requirements

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in desktop support or field services.
  • Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
  • CompTIA A+ or an equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Practical troubleshooting experience with workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Good understanding of desktop support environments.
  • Ability to provide fast, on-site technical assistance.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Additional Information

This position is based in Qatar and is a full-time onsite role.
