Role overview

The Australian Taxation Office is hiring enthusiastic Information Officers to join its Public Advice and Guidance team. In this role, you will help deliver advice, information, and coordination support that enables public guidance to be published effectively.

Key duties

  • Handle stakeholder questions related to publishing rules and procedures.
  • Coordinate publishing work across multiple business areas.
  • Monitor work items and move them through the publication workflow.
  • Carry out detailed formatting and tagging tasks.
  • Assist with record management and quality assurance activities.

Working focus

This position centres on stakeholder engagement, coordination, and service delivery, with a strong emphasis on making sure guidance is released accurately and within required timeframes.

Location and engagement

The role is based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. It may be offered as an ongoing or non-ongoing position, and similar opportunities may also be available in Newcastle or Parramatta.
