This role serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders and acts as an internal expert on human capital matters. The position involves partnering with leadership, People Operations, Legal, Benefits, and external advisors to strengthen employee experience, support compliance, and help drive talent and performance processes.

Compensation for this role is listed at $125K to $140K.

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted partner and subject matter resource on human capital topics for stakeholders across the Americas.
  • Prepare and share people-related insights through regular reporting and data analysis.
  • Support the People Director and broader People team on international initiatives and projects.
  • Handle employee relations matters such as disciplinary issues, leaves of absence, and conflict resolution.
  • Work with Legal and People Operations to make sure legal and administrative obligations are met.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends that may affect retention.
  • Coordinate mid-year and year-end performance review cycles and manage the appraisal process.
  • Spot performance concerns early, follow up on review outcomes, and escalate issues to the People Director and key stakeholders when needed.
  • Coach managers and leaders on giving effective feedback consistently and helping build a feedback-rich culture.
  • Facilitate talent review conversations, including succession planning for critical positions.
  • Manage the annual bonus allocation process and ensure all participants understand key decisions and timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Benefits team to ensure employee benefits are delivered in line with contracts and any contract amendments.
  • Partner with local offices to support compliance with employment and Health & Safety laws, and suggest corrective action where required.
  • Work with People Operations and external immigration counsel to assist with immigration matters affecting employees.
  • Support hiring activities with third-party agencies, internal talent acquisition teams, and business leaders so the strongest candidates are presented for final selection.
  • Provide leaders with the appropriate level of information to support internal hiring decisions.

Experience and skills required

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services setting.
  • Working knowledge of HR policies and practices across the US; experience in LatAm/LatCa is considered an advantage.
  • Strong background in employee relations and understanding of core employment law principles.
  • End-to-end project management experience is beneficial.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including experience handling relationships with senior leaders.
  • Ability to work consultatively and influence change across different levels of the organization.
  • Advanced comfort with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
