Job description
Role Overview
As a Human Resources Associate at JW Marriott Bengaluru, you will be responsible for managing and organizing HR documentation and correspondence, assisting candidates during application processes, and supporting employees and management with inquiries about HR policies and programs. Your role includes maintaining employee records with confidentiality and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Key Duties
- Develop and manage filing systems and office correspondence using computer tools.
- Distribute mail and oversee HR office supply orders and tracking.
- Handle phone communications and record messages professionally.
- Create and maintain personnel files for new employees.
- Assist walk-in candidates with the application process and maintain a clean, accessible application area.
- Address questions and concerns from employees and management regarding HR policies.
- Notify HR management about employee relations issues within divisions or the property.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and secure management of employee and property records, including interview documentation and I-9 forms.
- Adhere to all company procedures, dress codes, and confidentiality requirements.
- Report workplace accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Welcome visitors according to company standards and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Establish and foster positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and use computer systems for work-related data entry and retrieval.
- Perform light physical tasks involving objects up to 10 pounds.
- Complete other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
- Experience: Minimum of one year in a related role.
- Supervisory experience is not required.
- Licenses or certifications are not necessary.
