Job Brief

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is seeking a remote HRIS Analyst to join their HR Operations team. This role focuses on optimizing HR technology, specifically the UKG platform and related tools like Docebo. The analyst will collaborate with HR, Payroll, and business leaders to develop compliant and scalable solutions, acting as the main authority for HRIS configuration decisions. While the position is remote, periodic travel to Yakima for on-site meetings is required. Candidates must reside in Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, or California, with some location restrictions within WA and CA.

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is a leading healthcare organization in the Pacific Northwest, offering a comprehensive range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health, alongside support for shelter, energy, and HIV/AIDS counseling. They operate over 40 clinics across Washington and Oregon.

What We Offer

  • Salary range of $83,944.62-$107,029.39 per year, commensurate with experience, with potential for higher compensation for exceptionally qualified candidates.
  • Comprehensive employer-paid health insurance, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, and 24/7 telemedicine.
  • Eligibility for profit sharing and a 403(b) retirement savings plan.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and 8 paid holidays.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate existing configurations and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements for streamlining HR/Payroll processes through system setup and automation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain configurations within the UKG system and associated tools, ensuring proper documentation, controls, and traceability.
  • Manage and update an HRIS optimization and configuration roadmap, overseeing the intake, analysis, and prioritization of requests, including effort estimation, dependency mapping, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with HRIS and functional stakeholders to define solution approaches, document configuration decisions, establish standards, and ensure alignment for development and ongoing support.
  • Oversee configuration validation, including the creation of test scenarios and scripts, coordination of testing efforts, defect management, and sign-off for go-live readiness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for complex production issues and configuration defects, conducting root cause analysis, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions related to configuration, processes, security, or training.
  • Lead HRIS configuration aspects of cross-functional projects, managing tasks, risks, issues, testing, cutover activities, and ensuring alignment across HR and Payroll departments.
  • Maintain governance documentation for configurations, serving as the system of record for workbooks, process maps, decision logs, SOPs, and security matrices to ensure consistency, auditability, and knowledge transfer.
  • Assess the impact of changes and manage stakeholder communications for configuration releases, facilitating solution demonstrations, defining training needs, and collaborating with trainers.
  • Serve as the main liaison with vendors and internal partners, ensuring configuration designs are understood, acceptance criteria are met, and releases are completed on schedule and within scope.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in HRIS/HR operations systems, or equivalent experience as an IT Business Analyst/Systems Analyst.
  • Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, system configuration and support, reporting, and managing cross-functional project delivery through testing (UAT) and go-live phases.
  • Proven ability to coordinate configuration changes across integrated systems, such as HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Prior experience with UKG is highly preferred.
