Role Overview

The HR Services Analyst I plays a vital role in Latham’s HR Services team by managing transactional HR functions efficiently and ensuring service requests are processed from initiation to resolution through the case management system. The analyst is tasked with meeting all service level commitments, comprehending client inquiries accurately, communicating status updates promptly, and executing precise HR transactions. This position is situated in the New York office with possible flexible scheduling options such as hybrid or onsite to promote work-life harmony and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely addressing all HR service requests via the case management system, prioritizing based on urgency and complexity.
  • Escalating complex issues to senior HR personnel or appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Redirecting cases to the relevant HR specialties or outside vendors to ensure efficient resolution and clear communication.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all updates and transactions within the case system.
  • Delivering clear updates to clients about their request status and any required follow-up.
  • Contributing to refining HR service processes aimed at improving efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Supporting assigned HR initiatives and teamwork to foster collaboration.
  • Adhering strictly to company policies, confidentiality rules, and legal standards during all HR procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
  • Experience in HR support, customer service, or administration is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with case management software, HR information systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and confidentiality practices considered a plus.
