Role Overview
Join Stellantis's worldwide creative team, a multi-disciplinary group including UX and interaction designers, visual and motion artists, researchers, and prototypers. Working closely with various teams such as vehicle design studios, brand managers, software engineers, HMI experts, and external partners, this role involves contributing across all product development phases to craft innovative and meaningful automotive experiences blending hardware and software technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and visually compelling designs for vehicle digital interfaces including infotainment and instrument clusters.
- Collaborate dynamically with cross-functional teams to harmonize design concepts with technical requirements and brand standards.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual assets to illustrate user journeys and interactions clearly.
- Perform user research and usability assessments to refine designs based on real-world feedback.
- Keep abreast of the newest trends, cutting-edge technology, and best practices within the UI/UX design field.
- Engage in design presentations and critiques to iteratively enhance solutions.
- Design interfaces optimized for usability, accessibility, and manufacturability within automotive engineering parameters.
- Partner with development teams to ensure accurate implementation and integration during production cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or comparable disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design, preferably in automotive or related technological industries.
- Robust portfolio showcasing expertise in visual and interface design with a user-focused approach.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping platforms like Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or their equivalents.
- Strong knowledge of human factors, ergonomics, and accessibility standards relevant to interface design.
- Excellent communication skills facilitating effective teamwork across departments.
- Familiarity with automotive hardware and software systems is advantageous.
- Capacity to juggle multiple projects efficiently and adhere to deadlines within a fast-moving environment.
