This role supports World Wide Amazon Stores and General & Administrative (WWAS G&A) corporate managers located in the United States.

- Take ownership of employee relations case management, including discipline, performance improvement, and exit-related processes.
- Advise managers on people issues that require strong knowledge of policies, procedures, and local labor laws.
- Partner with the legal team and the ER point of contact on employee relations matters and carry out investigations when needed.
Performance management
- Support managers throughout the full performance management cycle, including coaching them on concerns, guiding them through the process, and helping finalize separation agreements.
- Review data and organizational observations to identify patterns and recommend actions or solutions where appropriate.
Talent management and people development
- Advise managers on compensation planning, including off-cycle and exception requests, using Amazon’s compensation philosophy as a guide.
- Coach and train managers through talent management activities, including building tools and communications that help them operate more independently during talent reviews.
- Help managers and employees identify learning opportunities that build functional and leadership capability.
- Support career discussions, development plans, and broader growth initiatives for employees.
HR operations and programs
- Champion the employee experience and help reinforce Amazon’s culture.
- Serve as the point of contact and program owner for people tools, HR processes, programs, or projects, including implementation and review.
- Lead cross-functional work that improves the employee experience and strengthens manager capability.
