HR Generalist

Purpose and objective

AMIRI is looking for a proactive, organized HR Generalist to help run core human resources functions across both corporate and retail teams. In this role, you will contribute to employee experience, compliance, talent operations, and broader organizational development within a luxury fashion setting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a reliable first point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
• Manage onboarding activities and help create a smooth experience for new hires.
• Keep employee files and HRIS records up to date and accurate.
• Work with hiring managers to assist recruitment for corporate and/or retail positions.
• Help coordinate payroll and administer benefits and leave-of-absence processes.
• Support performance review cycles and initiatives focused on employee growth and development.
• Look for ways to streamline HR workflows and improve the employee experience.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including issue resolution and investigations when required.
• Help revise HR policies and employee handbooks.
• Make sure HR practices align with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
