Job Overview

This remote position, based in Germany and offered through a partner organization, seeks an experienced HR & Compliance Coordinator dedicated to developing robust people processes and upholding compliance standards. The role includes handling complete HR operations and ensuring alignment with relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment processes including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, checking references, and preparing employment paperwork.
  • Manage new hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation, training modules, and orientation activities are properly completed.
  • Monitor and sustain compliance through managing certifications, background checks, insurance paperwork, and workforce requirements.
  • Keep detailed records of compliance, training, and employee information to guarantee readiness for audits.
  • Coordinate internal/external training programs, professional development, and ensure eLearning completions.
  • Administer workforce scheduling including roster management, shift adjustments, coverage for leaves, and operational coordination.
  • Conduct internal audits of personnel records and organizational procedures to identify enhancements and uphold regulatory compliance.
  • Support employee engagement through regular team check-ins, feedback gathering, recognition initiatives, and communication efforts.
  • Assist with policy reviews, compliance reporting, documentation, and updates aligned to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with external training providers to enhance professional development and workforce capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in HR, compliance, or workforce coordination within sectors such as disability services, community services, or healthcare.
  • Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks including NDIS Quality and Safeguarding and Australian workplace regulations.
  • Proven track record managing onboarding, training coordination, employee document control, and compliance record maintenance.
  • Familiarity with workforce awards and employment standards, particularly the SCHADS Award.
  • Capability to conduct internal audits, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation for management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with a collaborative and people-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fully remote setup.
  • Comfortable working with HR software, compliance platforms, and digital workforce management tools.
  • Detail-focused, proactive, and dedicated to enhancing operational and employee experience efficiency.
