Job description
Role Overview
Lian Hin Pte Ltd is looking for an HR Assistant / Executive to handle day-to-day human resources activities and support the full employee lifecycle. This role is based in Singapore and follows a 5-day workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end HR operations, covering hiring, joining formalities, exit processing, learning coordination, performance activities, and employee relations.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and participate in interviews.
- Manage work pass submissions and renewals.
- Draft employment-related documents such as appointment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Keep employee personnel files updated in both physical and digital formats.
- Help administer the annual performance review cycle.
- Track and update leave and attendance information.
- Handle registration and renewal for Coretrade, Multi-Skill, CSOC, and other training programmes.
- Support employee benefits and welfare administration.
- Work with the payroll vendor on payroll-related matters.
- Assist in reviewing and improving HR policies and procedures.
- Process staff claim reimbursements.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management when needed.
Requirements
- Applicants should have 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar field.
- Prior exposure to Times Software will be an advantage.
- A solid understanding of labour legislation and statutory compliance is required.
- Strong people skills, clear communication ability, and a high level of discretion are important for this role.
Working Schedule
The role is on a 5-day workweek.
