Job description
Role Overview
This role combines store operations with delivery duties. You will be responsible for managing inventory, handling incoming and outgoing goods, preparing orders, and carrying out deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
Key Duties
- Maintain organised stock records for tools, equipment, and PPE, with careful tracking of inventory levels.
- Handle incoming shipments by unloading, checking, and putting items into storage correctly.
- Accurately select and pack orders for dispatch.
- Get deliveries ready and load goods onto vehicles for transport.
- Transport products to customers on schedule and handle goods with care during delivery.
- Confirm delivery details and complete all required paperwork and supporting documents.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly and comply with road rules and driving guidelines.
- Carry out basic vehicle upkeep, including cleaning and refuelling.
- Help keep the store and work area neat, safe, and orderly.
- Work closely with management and colleagues to support smooth store and delivery operations.
- Follow company procedures and observe all health and safety requirements.
