About the Role

Mac Aircon is seeking a dedicated HR Assistant to join their team in Singapore. This role is crucial for supporting the HR department in various administrative and operational functions, ensuring smooth HR processes and compliance with regulations. The position is full-time and based onsite.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the monthly payroll process and meticulously maintain attendance and leave records.
  • Oversee the administration of work passes, including applications, renewals, and cancellations, through the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) portals.
  • Process Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) claims and liaise with insurance providers for necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the recruitment cycle by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Prepare employment contracts and essential onboarding documentation for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support statutory submissions.
  • Monitor foreign worker levy (FWL), work pass quotas, and ensure adherence to MOM compliance requirements.
  • Address general HR-related inquiries from all employees.
  • Track the expiry of Coretrade and CSOC certifications, arrange for renewals, and register workers for relevant training programs.
  • Administer leave, attendance, overtime records, and process employee claims.
  • Handle dormitory check-in/check-out procedures, renewals, room movement forms, and procure personal protective equipment (PPE) for workers.
  • Provide support to the HR Executive on ad hoc projects and reporting tasks.

Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; previous HR administration or internship experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with MOM portals such as WP Online and EP Online is considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; experience with HR systems like Info-Tech is beneficial.
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Singapore.
