Job description
Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be tasked with performing routine cleaning duties to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well-organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors.
- Strip beds, wash linens, make beds, and fold laundry.
- Mop hard floors using damp mops and operate auto scrubbers when necessary.
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness in main areas such as lobbies, stairwells, elevators, escalators, and mezzanines.
- Vacuum carpeted spaces and carry out carpet extraction tasks as required.
- Dispose of garbage from resident rooms and common areas diligently.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning all resident and staff information.
- Ensure safety by adhering to health and safety protocols, including appropriate use of wet floor signs.
- Report any injuries or hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests.
Candidate Profile
- Prior housekeeping experience, especially in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning, is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a heavy workload efficiently.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to understand instructions clearly.
- Capable of following both verbal and written guidelines accurately.
- Physical capability to perform all tasks, including lifting items up to 20 pounds.
Work Schedule
- Shift duration of 12 hours per day.
- Work rotation of 14 days on followed by 14 days off.
