Housekeeping Attendant

Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be tasked with performing routine cleaning duties to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors.
• Strip beds, wash linens, make beds, and fold laundry.
• Mop hard floors using damp mops and operate auto scrubbers when necessary.
• Inspect and maintain cleanliness in main areas such as lobbies, stairwells, elevators, escalators, and mezzanines.
• Vacuum carpeted spaces and carry out carpet extraction tasks as required.
• Dispose of garbage from resident rooms and common areas diligently.
• Maintain confidentiality concerning all resident and staff information.
• Ensure safety by adhering to health and safety protocols, including appropriate use of wet floor signs.
• Report any injuries or hazards immediately to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to emergency cleaning requests.

Candidate Profile

• Prior housekeeping experience, especially in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning, is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a heavy workload efficiently.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to understand instructions clearly.
• Capable of following both verbal and written guidelines accurately.
• Physical capability to perform all tasks, including lifting items up to 20 pounds.

Work Schedule

• Shift duration of 12 hours per day.
• Work rotation of 14 days on followed by 14 days off.
