About Thornbury Castle
Thornbury Castle, a member of Relais & Châteaux, seeks a dedicated Hotel Porter to join its diligent Front of House team. This role is based in a beautifully restored Tudor castle situated on 15 acres of picturesque land, located 20 minutes from Bristol. The castle hotel offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant and bar, plus unique meeting spaces. Recently renovated through a significant refurbishment, the castle aims to provide refined, personalized hospitality to create exceptional 5-star experiences, making guests feel like royalty in a distinctive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with their luggage.
- Escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a smooth and welcoming introduction to their accommodations.
- Respond to guest inquiries and guide them to appropriate departments as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in guest and public areas to uphold high standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to guarantee guest safety throughout the property.
- Support room service and deliver additional room amenities when required.
