Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Tamworth to help deliver customer orders accurately and safely. This position suits someone who likes staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers as a direct representative of the brand.

Pay

The role offers an hourly wage of £13.71.

What the job involves

You will be responsible for transporting grocery orders to customers and making sure deliveries arrive in excellent condition. The role includes safe loading of the van, careful driving, vehicle checks, and providing helpful service at the door. You may also be asked to assist in the store when needed.

Working pattern

Shift times can vary, with working hours running between 6am and 11pm. The job requires someone who can work on their own, stay organised, and manage time effectively.

Main duties

• Load the van safely, including handling heavy items and following manual handling rules
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times
• Carry out daily van inspections and checks
• Make sure customer groceries are delivered in suitable condition
• Offer friendly and professional customer service
• Support the store team when required
• Work independently and keep to schedule

Who should apply

Applicants need a full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, approachable, reliable, able to meet deadlines, and strongly aware of road safety.
