Role overview
Be Independent Home Care is a certified Great Place to Work in Ireland and is continuing to expand across County Kildare. The organisation is looking to hire Healthcare Assistants in the Leixlip, Maynooth and Celbridge areas. This role is offered on a guaranteed-hours basis with pay starting from €16 per hour.
Working pattern
Successful applicants must be able to work between 8:00am and 9:00pm on a rotating schedule. The roster runs over two weeks: week one includes Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, while week two includes Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Every second weekend is worked, and the pattern covers 7 days per fortnight with 60 hours of guaranteed pay. Additional hours may also be available. The minimum guaranteed hours are 30 per week.

Requirements
Applicants should hold at least two QQI modules, specifically Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of one year of paid care experience may also be considered. A positive, cheerful, caring and dependable attitude is essential. Candidates must have suitable references, the legal right to work, fluent English, their own car, and a full driving licence. The joining bonus is paid after successful completion of six months of employment.
