Role overview
For the earliest possible start, the KOB GmbH is looking for a caretaker/handyman role based in one of several locations: Bad Kissingen, Gemünden am Main, Hammelburg, Oberleichtersbach, Oberthulba, or Schweinfurt. The position is part of a large transport organization that emphasizes stable long-term employment and team support.
Key duties
- Keep the managed properties in a safe, operational, and traffic-compliant condition at all times.
- Monitor the condition of tools and equipment, ensure proper use, arrange maintenance, and coordinate appointments with external service providers.
- Carry out repair, maintenance, and touch-up work on buildings and structural elements, including tasks such as minor repairs and painting.
- Perform small maintenance jobs and support the upkeep of the bus wash facility.
- Handle timetable posting and take care of the maintenance and cleaning of bus stops.
- Provide technical support for food service vehicles.
Candidate profile
- You have completed a technical or manual trade apprenticeship and ideally already have experience looking after properties or facilities.
- You bring practical craftsmanship together with solid technical understanding.
- You are physically resilient, adaptable, ready to get involved, and present yourself in a professional, customer-focused manner.
- You are confident using a tablet, a PC, and standard office and business software, including MS Office.
- A valid Class BE driving licence is mandatory.
- A valid Class D/DE licence would be an advantage, or you should be willing to obtain one.
- Training in oil separator systems and electrical testing is desirable, or you should be prepared to complete it.
