Job description
Role overview
This is a newly created Group FP&A Manager opportunity with a rapidly expanding media company that operates across several European markets. The business is known for its entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial focus, and continued growth through organic expansion as well as acquisitions.
Working with senior leaders, this role will help shape the organisation’s financial direction, strengthen performance reporting, and support strategic growth initiatives. It also provides broad exposure to executive stakeholders, high-impact projects, and M&A-related activity within an international setting.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the group rolling forecast model, covering revenue, cash flow, and working capital.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle across multiple international entities, working in close partnership with local finance teams.
- Create scenario-based analyses, sensitivity models, and planning tools that support major business decisions.
- Track cash performance and flag both potential risks and upside opportunities to senior management.
- Build management packs, board-level reports, and investor presentation materials.
- Carry out detailed variance analysis and present clear explanations of business performance.
- Work collaboratively with finance teams across the group to raise forecasting accuracy and improve reporting standards.
- Assist with acquisition opportunities by preparing financial models and investment assessments.
Candidate profile
- You must be a fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA credentials.
- Background in FP&A, commercial finance, transaction services, corporate finance, or corporate development is required.
- Strong capability in financial modelling and advanced Excel is essential.
- Experience producing budgets, forecasts, and business performance reports is needed.
- You should have a commercial approach and the ability to translate data into practical business insights.
