About the Company
Hays Luxembourg is a recruitment and talent advisory firm known for helping skilled professionals connect with well-established organizations across different sectors in Luxembourg. The company focuses on delivering a high level of service, tailoring its approach to the needs of both employers and candidates, and building matches that support long-term growth and success. Its environment is described as collaborative, inclusive, and guided by professionalism, innovation, and integrity.
About the Role
An experienced and imaginative Graphic Designer is needed to support a client based in Luxembourg. The position can be engaged either as a freelance arrangement or as a permanent role through a payrolling company. In this role, you will shape the visual presentation of digital and print communications and help influence how the brand is experienced across multiple touchpoints. The annual gross compensation is between 50,000€ and 60,000€. Strong English communication skills are essential because the role involves working with international teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
The ideal profile includes a bachelor's degree in graphic design or a closely related discipline along with at least 2 years of professional experience in graphic design. Solid command of Adobe Creative Cloud tools, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is required. Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, is also important for creating presentations and proposals. The role additionally calls for familiarity with production workflows, photography, and maintaining brand consistency. Candidates should be able to manage multiple priorities, stay organized under pressure, and work efficiently within deadlines. Creativity, precision, analytical problem-solving, independence, and initiative are all important qualities. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Responsibilities
The designer will produce and maintain a varied set of high-quality visual assets such as brochures, reports, campaign materials, and event-related graphics. All work must remain aligned with the brand identity and meet professional standards. The role involves developing visually effective concepts for both digital and print channels and supporting broader marketing and communication efforts. You will also act as a quality checkpoint, ensuring consistency and excellence across all outputs.
In addition, the position includes coordination and project support responsibilities such as organizing workflows, managing administrative tasks linked to design projects, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The designer will assist with production partners, identify new vendors, and help manage end-to-end production activities, including procurement. There is also an expectation to contribute fresh creative ideas, strengthen visual storytelling, and help lead team deliverables so that work is completed on schedule.
Benefits
The role offers a competitive annual gross salary of 50,000€ to 60,000€, together with opportunities to grow professionally and progress in your career. It provides flexibility in engagement, either as a freelancer or as a permanent hire via payroll. You will work on a range of projects that can broaden your portfolio and deepen your industry experience. The culture is described as supportive, collaborative, and inclusive, with an emphasis on work-life balance and ongoing learning. Additional possible benefits include health insurance, professional training, and involvement in innovative projects.
Equal Opportunity
The employer is committed to diversity and inclusion and encourages applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, gender, age, disability, religion, or sexual orientation. The aim is to maintain a workplace where people feel respected, included, and able to contribute fully.
