Job description

About the Company

Farol Ltd is a fast-expanding agricultural and groundcare business operating across multiple sites. It is the UK’s biggest John Deere dealer, with yearly revenue close to £200 million. Founded in 1976 as a family-run company, Farol now employs around 280 people across service, parts, sales, transport and business support, while remaining fully family owned. Alongside John Deere, the business represents several other brands and is recognised as a leader in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products.

About the Role

Farol is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its small and welcoming Marketing team. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, this position carries full responsibility for the business’s design output. It is a practical, hands-on role focused on delivering strong creative work for both print and digital use.

The role involves creating visual content that strengthens the Farol brand across agriculture, professional groundcare and homeowner markets, with a strong focus on print advertising, showroom collateral and digital campaign graphics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create polished print advertisements, brochures, flyers and editorial artwork.
  • Build and update machinery stock advertisements for a range of print publications.
  • Design digital marketing graphics for websites, email campaigns and social media channels.
  • Produce point-of-sale materials for showrooms, including posters, signage and display graphics.
  • Maintain consistency of brand presentation across all visual materials and customer touchpoints.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be imaginative, meticulous and committed to producing high-quality design work. You should be well organised, able to work independently and confident in managing your own tasks.

You will enjoy contributing fresh ideas while also appreciating the need for accuracy, consistency and strong brand alignment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven graphic design background with a portfolio showing both print and digital work.
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Good knowledge of layout, typography, colour use and print production processes.
  • Ability to juggle several projects at once and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience in vehicle graphics or large-format print work.
  • Interest in agriculture, groundcare or machinery-related industries.

Package and Benefits

The salary is in the range of £32,000 to £35,000, depending on experience. The benefits package includes 20 days of holiday, increasing by one extra day for each completed year of service up to a maximum of 25 days, plus Bank Holidays. Additional benefits include a company pension, employee discount schemes, employee wellbeing and financial planning support, and a cycle to work scheme.

Working Hours

This is an office-based role with hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
