Role Overview

This full-time Senior Business Development Manager position is based in Singapore and offers a hybrid work setup with some flexibility to work from home. The role is responsible for finding and qualifying new business opportunities for Stellar AI’s AI voice bot, chatbot, and customer engagement offerings across target sectors. The person in this position will shape and execute go-to-market plans and account strategies, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and manage the full sales journey from outreach and solution framing through negotiation and deal closure.

What You Will Do

  • Identify promising business opportunities and convert them into qualified sales leads.
  • Build and execute account plans and market-entry strategies for target industries.
  • Keep a strong and active pipeline of prospects moving through the sales process.
  • Run end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, positioning solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  • Work with leadership, product, and delivery teams to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with client needs and expected business results.
  • Develop lasting relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
  • Monitor market movements and competitor activity, then share insights with the wider team.
  • Use client feedback to help guide improvements to products and services.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings a background in business development, sales, or account management within technology, AI, SaaS, or consulting, and has a history of achieving or surpassing revenue goals. You should be comfortable with opportunity discovery, lead generation, pipeline oversight, and consultative selling for enterprise or mid-market customers. The role also requires the ability to explain technical topics such as AI, automation, and customer engagement in clear business language, along with confidence in executive-level conversations, presentations, and commercial negotiations.

Additional Requirements

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as product, delivery, and marketing to develop solutions and proposals.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills; knowledge of other regional languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth environment and manage priorities independently.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related discipline is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Singapore and wider ASEAN market for technology or customer engagement solutions is helpful.
  • Willingness to travel locally and across the region for client meetings and industry events when needed.
