About the role
This is a bank position on a flexible 0-hour arrangement. As a General Assistant in a Barchester care home, you will support the day-to-day running of the home by handling a variety of tasks across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and catering. The role is varied, and each day may look different. By contributing across these areas, you will help create a welcoming, comfortable, and homely setting for residents.
You will be expected to treat residents with care and empathy, keep their needs at the centre of everything you do, and develop positive, professional relationships that help make their time in the home feel safe, pleasant, and meaningful.
