Full-time Sales Associate

Role Overview

Pet Valu’s retail network brings together Pet Valu, Paulmac’s Pet Food, Bosley’s, Tisol, and Total Pet, making it one of North America’s major pet-focused store groups. The business supports families with food and supplies for dogs, cats, companion birds, wild birds, fish, reptiles, and small animals.

The company also supports local pets and communities through partnerships with shelters, rescues, and charities. This includes adoption events, in-store adoption in selected locations, pet food bank programs, national donation drives, and fundraising efforts.

In this position, you will work as a Sales Associate in Beamsville, Ontario, helping pet parents choose suitable nutrition and other products for their pets while being part of a team of pet enthusiasts.

What the Role Involves

• Handle cashier duties and process customer sales.
• Prepare merchandise orders, banking paperwork, and other routine store documents.
• Stock smaller products, such as pet supplies and household items under 10 lbs, on the sales floor.
• Carry out general store upkeep, including sweeping and dusting.
• Help unload delivery vehicles and move bags or cases of pet food and supplies into stock, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support store operations.

• Practical knowledge of point-of-sale systems.

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and evenings when required.
