Role Overview
A family in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their 3-month-old son. They recently relocated to the Phoenix area and are looking for someone nurturing, dependable, and experienced in infant care who can become a steady part of their support network. Because they are first-time parents, they value a caregiver who is warm, attentive, organized, and genuinely interested in early childhood development.
The ideal person will help maintain a calm, structured environment and support the baby as he grows into more predictable feeding and sleep routines.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay starts at $18.50 per hour.
- A $500 retention bonus is available after six months of employment.
- An additional $200 end-of-year bonus is offered.
- 20 guaranteed hours each week.
- Retention bonus opportunities are included as part of the role.
Schedule and Location
Location: Gilbert, AZ 85296.
Start date: August 17, 2026.
Expected duration: Long-term.
Working hours:
- Monday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Friday: Begins in January 2027
Responsibilities
- Provide caring, attentive support for a 3-month-old infant.
- Help guide and reinforce the baby’s daily routine.
- Support the sleep pattern the family is working to establish.
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate developmental play and activities.
- Clean and sanitize bottles.
- Keep baby-related spaces neat and organized.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for infants.
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to a baby’s needs and signals.
- Strong reliability and clear communication skills.
- Good organizational habits and attention to detail.
- Comfort with creating and maintaining consistent routines.
- Spanish or Chinese language ability is a plus, though not mandatory.
