Job description

About the Role

KidStrong Woodbridge is expanding quickly and is looking for an upbeat, skilled coach to join the team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and parents, bringing energy to every session, and contributing to a program that supports kids in becoming more confident, capable, and ready for school, play, and life.

KidStrong is a child development program for children from walking age through 11 years old. Its mission is to help families build stronger, smarter, and more athletic kids through a science-based curriculum led by professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay in the range of $19.00 to $21.00
  • Complimentary uniforms
  • Training and development opportunities
  • A fun, professional, and energetic team environment
  • The chance to coach children and create a meaningful impact
  • Opportunities to guide parents in supporting their child’s growth
  • Flexible scheduling options depending on studio needs

Schedule

Classes usually take place on weekdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and again in the evenings until 7:00 pm. Weekend sessions generally run from 8:00 am through noon. The studio may offer flexible working hours, and additional shifts may be available through private party coaching. Coaches may also be asked to support special “Coach KidStrong Academy” classes during school breaks such as winter break and summer break.

Key Responsibilities

The coach will lead small group classes for children, deliver the KidStrong curriculum, maintain class timing and energy, and support families by explaining the purpose behind the programming. The role also includes managing the studio space, using internal tools to record attendance and other class details, and participating in ongoing training and staff meetings.

Other Information

This is a franchise location, independently owned and operated by the franchisee. Hiring decisions are made by the franchise management team. Employment-related questions should be directed to the local franchise location.

What KidStrong Stands For

KidStrong helps parents develop stronger, smarter, and more athletic children. The program focuses on helping kids build confidence, social skills, physical ability, and character so they can succeed in everyday life.

Additional Notes

Experience with pediatric occupational therapy or physical therapy is considered an advantage, but it is not a requirement. The ideal coach should be comfortable speaking confidently with parents and guardians about the reasoning behind the curriculum, and should be ready to work in a physically active, hands-on environment.
