Role overview
Amazon is seeking a Full Lifecycle Recruiter for the Stores Tech Talent Acquisition team in Hyderabad. This role supports high-volume hiring for technical job families such as Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Software Development Manager, and Technical Program Manager. The position plays an important part in the hiring process, with an emphasis on building strong candidate pipelines and improving recruitment outcomes through data-backed decisions.
In this role, you will act as a sourcing expert, partner with hiring teams, and help create a smooth, candidate-focused recruitment experience. The work involves attracting qualified talent, assessing fit for both role requirements and Amazon’s leadership principles, and continuously improving sourcing and hiring efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage passive candidates through proactive market research and evaluate them against role expectations and Amazon’s leadership principles.
- Plan and manage multiple searches at once, ensuring timely delivery of strong and diverse candidate pipelines while tracking performance metrics.
- Use market intelligence, competitor insights, and industry trends to shape sourcing strategy and build scalable talent pipelines.
- Screen and attract high-caliber candidates by assessing qualifications and supporting them through each step of the hiring process.
- Apply candidate engagement and closing techniques to build trust and improve conversion.
- Work closely with recruiters, recruiting coordinators, and Strategic Demand Advisors to meet hiring needs.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience through clear communication, prioritization, urgency, and a customer-first mindset.
- Monitor and work toward KPIs such as pipeline activity, conversion rates, candidate experience, and hiring cycle time.
- Keep learning as hiring practices, standards, and market trends evolve.
- Contribute to projects that improve recruiting operations, process efficiency, and recruiter productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 4 years of experience in technology recruiting is preferred.
