Fuel Operations Specialist (Aviation)

Overview

The Fuel Operations Specialist is responsible for daily operations and maintenance of the fuel farm following established SOPs and safety protocols. This position involves preparing logs, overseeing troubleshooting activities performed by contractors, and communicating any equipment issues to the maintenance teams. The role also requires readiness to participate as an Emergency Response Team member during emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine fuel farm operations including fuel quality checks, fuel sampling, loading/unloading, transaction recording, and refueller top-ups.
• Carry out aircraft refuelling and defuelling using fuel bridger and aviation specialised vehicles.
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and functional testing of government-furnished equipment and property according to SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize stocktake of government and in-house equipment.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, security, and safety standards; attend briefings and prepare safety reports.
• Participate in audits, emergency and oil spill exercises, and adhere to data governance policies.
• Operate within customer and contractual expectations during shift operations.
• Engage in business unit digital transformation initiatives.
• Take part in necessary training, manage security clearances, and fulfill extra duties such as overtime and call outs as required.

Job Requirements

• Preferably holds a NITEC qualification with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Possession of Class 4 and/or Class 5 Driving License and/or Forklift License is necessary.
• Experience working with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is favored.
• Capable of using mobile applications and possessing cybersecurity awareness.
