Freelance Presentation Designer

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for a freelance, part-time remote project with a London-based company. The work sits within a hybrid AI plus human workflow on the Tendem project, where automated agents handle repetitive tasks and you apply judgment, subject-matter understanding, and presentation craftsmanship to produce high-impact visual deliverables.

This position is suited to creative professionals with practical experience in visual communication, information design, storytelling, and polished slide design. You will be expected to turn dense content into clear, persuasive presentations and one-pagers that feel premium and corporate, while still visually engaging.

What you will do

In this role, you will shape storytelling-focused presentation assets, with an emphasis on visual hierarchy, clarity, and refined design execution. You will work with tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma to build compelling decks and one-pagers that communicate complex ideas with precision.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-value pitch decks and professional one-pagers customized for different audiences and use cases.
• Transform complicated information and data into clean, concise, visually guided narratives.
• Strengthen slide quality through thoughtful use of typography, custom fonts, animation, and consistent layout systems.
• Maintain a refined visual tone that combines corporate credibility with creative polish across every deliverable.
• Review formatting carefully before handoff, checking alignment, spacing, pacing, and brand consistency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant background in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a similar creative discipline is an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote for building advanced, dynamic decks.
• Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
• Ability to turn multi-layered data and complex structures into simple, minimalist visual narratives.
• Advanced handling of typography and motion, including smooth animations and custom font usage.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
• Hands-on experience producing premium, corporate-meets-creative presentation layouts.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to flawless visual execution.
• Independent working style with the ability to resolve design issues without close supervision.
• A CV that includes a portfolio link featuring high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization examples; applications without a portfolio link or relevant presentation cases will not be considered.

Time commitment and compensation

Workload is estimated at around 10 to 20 hours per week during active phases of the project. This is only an estimate and is not guaranteed, and it applies only when the project is active.

Compensation can go up to the equivalent of USD 50 per hour, depending on experience level and pace of contribution. Pay may vary by project scope, complexity, and required expertise.
