You will be part of a leading organisation specialising in data centre construction and engineering. This company is renowned for delivering large-scale, complex projects spanning various locations in Europe and is recognized as a trusted and experienced leader in the industry. Due to ongoing growth, the finance team in the Dublin West office is expanding, seeking a Financial Accountant to join their ranks.

Role Summary

As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will encompass managing multiple entities and jurisdictions within a fast-moving, project-oriented environment. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for period-end closing procedures, preparing financial reports, conducting reconciliations, and performing commercial cost analysis. Additionally, you will contribute to statutory accounts preparation, budgeting processes, KPI reporting, and promoting continuous improvements across the finance function. This hands-on role offers significant exposure to senior management and business operations.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA with over three years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a background in practice.
  • Robust financial accounting expertise, ideally within a comparable sector.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong commercial insight and analytical skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail combined with excellent organizational abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary ranging between €65,000 and €75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
