About the Role

Work Schedule Requirements
To accommodate customer needs, Field Officers are required to work 12 hours of their weekly 36.5 hours between 4pm and 9pm from Monday to Friday, or at any time during the weekend. This flexible arrangement allows for personal schedule structuring. You will start and finish your workday from home, covering local areas within Liverpool (applicants must reside in L postcode areas). A company vehicle will be provided, or you can use your own. All necessary equipment and training will be supplied.
Core Responsibilities
- Conducting visits to residences where a TV licence is not registered.
- Engaging with customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Explaining TV licensing regulations and the available options.
- Establishing and managing payment plans as needed.
- Accurately documenting the outcomes of visits using mobile technology.
- Exercising independent judgment and making sound decisions in the field.
- Potentially attending court proceedings as part of the enforcement process.
Essential Skills, Behaviours & Requirements
- A full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Possess strong communication abilities and the capacity to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrate the ability to remain calm, professional, and resilient in various customer interaction scenarios.
- Exhibit a problem-solving aptitude and sound judgment.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when recording information.
- Be capable of working autonomously and managing your own time effectively.
- Be comfortable using technology, including mobile devices and applications.
- Maintain a positive outlook and a commitment to learning.
- Be mobile and prepared to travel locally within the L postcode area.
- Possess schedule flexibility to meet the required evening and weekend working hours.
