Executive Recruiter (Startup & C-level Specialist)

Overview

Red Sky operates as a venture builder, creating and launching digital businesses. This role is for an Executive Recruiter who can identify, attract, and secure exceptional senior leaders such as CEOs, CTOs, CPOs, and co-founders who can help a startup move from seed stage to global scale. The position is highly independent and carries significant responsibility, effectively serving as Red Sky’s in-house executive search function.

The ideal candidate understands the distinction between a traditional corporate leader and a startup builder, and brings strong connections within the technology or investment ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Run confidential, end-to-end searches for senior leadership roles, including defining the profile, managing the process, and closing the placement with negotiated equity terms when needed.
• Develop and maintain a strong international network of entrepreneurs, experienced technology leaders, digital professionals, and relevant advisors.
• Carry out in-depth interviews to assess leadership capability, cultural alignment, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to perform in uncertain, fast-changing environments.
• Own the search process directly rather than depending on external executive search firms, and manage communication with high-profile candidates throughout.

Candidate Profile

• Substantial background in executive search or headhunting, especially for C-level, VP-level, or founder-level hiring in tech, digital, or SaaS environments.
• Exposure to venture capital, private equity, startup accelerators, or fast-growing innovation ecosystems is a strong advantage.
• Strong commercial understanding of startup operations, fundraising, and scaling, including concepts such as ARR, runway, cap table, dilution, and Series A.
• Excellent negotiation, discretion, and emotional intelligence, with proven ability to close senior offers that may include equity components.
• Advanced fluency in both English and Polish, spoken and written, for communication with international investors and executives.
