Job Overview
This role involves acting as a direct sales force tasked with expanding the retail business within a designated territory by developing and managing a network of dealers and stakeholders, including contractors, to meet overall business volume and value targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise monthly plans to meet business goals in the assigned area, actively working towards set targets.
- Support dealer sales achievement via frequent visits, communication of sales schemes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Oversee growth of established core products alongside introduction and promotion of new and focus products.
- Identify and establish new dealer counters to boost sustainable sales potential within the territory.
- Analyze local market data to recognize opportunities and implement appropriate initiatives.
- Enhance value and growth of the existing dealer network.
- Coordinate promotional events and product knowledge sessions for dealers and contractors.
- Provide market feedback for scheme and product development.
- Address dealer queries promptly to maintain effective relationships.
- Help dealers resolve complaints from contractors and end customers efficiently.
- Ensure dealers receive materials, services, and promotional tools through collaboration with stakeholders.
- Achieve payment collections from dealers as per defined benchmarks and actively manage outstanding dues.
- Promote contractor enrollment and benefits via dealers according to the specified loyalty programs.
- Organize product awareness meetings targeting contractors, especially for new launches.
- Investigate and resolve dealer and customer complaints within designated timeframes.
- Collaborate across teams such as project sales and services for lead sharing and issue resolution.
- Prepare and submit daily visit and monthly territory reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduate degree in any stream (BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BBM, BMS) from a full-time program.
- Minimum of 50% marks across academic career without any backlogs.
- Engineering qualifications (B.Tech, BE, Diploma, B.Pharma) are not eligible.
- Preference for candidates holding an MBA or PGDM specializing in Sales and Marketing.
- Open to freshers; applicants with up to 5 years of sales experience in any organization are encouraged to apply.
