Job description
Role Overview
Candid Health is hiring an experienced Executive Business Partner to support senior leadership in a fast-moving, high-responsibility environment. This role is designed for someone who can handle a broad mix of operational, strategic, and logistical work with confidence and precision. You will help leadership stay focused on high-value priorities by managing time, coordinating key activities, and keeping the broader team organized and aligned. This position is based in New York City and requires working in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize executive calendars by understanding business priorities, resolving conflicts, and protecting time for the most important work.
- Provide hands-on daily support to the leadership team, including meal coordination, workspace readiness, and other operational details that keep the day running smoothly.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including Board meetings, by handling setup, welcoming guests, supporting follow-through, and managing cleanup.
- Build and maintain a clear task-tracking system that makes priorities, ownership, and deadlines easy to see across the executive team.
- Arrange complex travel plans with attention to efficiency, comfort, and smooth logistics.
- Support company culture and engagement by organizing offsites, holiday gatherings, and other team events.
What the Role Requires
- At least 4 years of experience supporting C-suite leaders in complex, fast-growing environments.
- A highly proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they escalate.
- Strong personal ownership and a commitment to delivering excellent results on every task and project.
- Comfort working in person and collaborating closely with executives in a face-to-face setting.
- Strong relationship-building skills, including the ability to earn trust and adapt communication style to different stakeholders.
- Flexibility to move between administrative support and higher-level strategic assistance as business needs change.
- High discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential matters and sensitive information.
- Confidence acting as an accountability partner who can help keep executives aligned and on track.
- Clear, concise communication skills, with especially strong writing ability.
Work Setting
This is an in-office position in New York City. The team works from the office at least 4 days per week, and the company emphasizes a highly in-person way of working.
Compensation
The expected starting base salary is USD 130,000 to 150,000 per year. Final pay may vary depending on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market data. Total compensation may also include equity and employee benefits. Because the company is earlier-stage, equity is considered an important part of the overall package.
Additional Notes
The organization operates with minimal hierarchy and broad experience levels across roles. The compensation package may include upside from equity, reflecting the company’s funding stage and size.
