This position is for an Event Operations Associate supporting the HOKA North America events organization. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Events - HOKA NA and is based remotely in the United States. What You Will Do
You will help run the operational side of the HOKA NA event calendar by coordinating logistics, managing assets, and supporting internal event processes. The role includes shipping coordination, warehouse communication, budget and invoice tracking, agency coordination, and administrative support.
- Coordinate shipping and transportation needs for North America events and experiences.
- Act as the primary contact for the asset warehouse, Soul Focus Sports.
- Help maintain event calendar governance and process discipline.
- Support agency relationships by inventorying and cataloging assets across partners and keeping those assets in good condition.
- Work with agencies and event owners on new fabrication requests.
- Attend events when needed to help with setup, teardown, and logistics, and assist staffing activation moments.
- Track the team budget and invoices.
- Collaborate on the event calendar with input on asset planning, event presence, and activation ideas.
- Keep SharePoint organized, build deck templates, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. The role calls for 0 to 2 years of related marketing experience, with footwear or retail experience preferred.
Prior exposure to organizing and supporting events and marketing programs is important. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be able to communicate clearly with managers, clients, and coworkers in both written and verbal formats.
Success in this role also requires the ability to work in complex organizations, balance competing priorities, and stay effective in a fast-paced environment. The company is looking for someone who is highly motivated, collaborative, self-directed, detail-oriented, and positive in their working style. Familiarity with current fitness and running industry trends, competitor activity, and outside inspiration from other industries is also valued.
Compensation and Benefits
The posted base pay range for this role is $31.15 to $38.94 per hour for the Goleta, California remote location. Final pay will depend on location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
