Event Operations Associate - NA HOKA

About the Role

HOKA is seeking an Event Operations Associate to support the North America events function. In this role, you will help manage the processes and projects that keep the event calendar running smoothly, with a strong focus on shipping, transport, asset coordination, warehouse communication, agency support, budget tracking, and fabrication requests. You will work under the direction of the Senior Manager, Events - HOKA NA.

This position is remote within the United States, and candidates must live in one of these approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and transport needs for North America events and brand experiences.
• Act as the primary contact for the asset warehouse, Soul Focus Sports.
• Help maintain governance and accuracy of the event calendar.
• Support agency partners by tracking, organizing, and cataloging assets, while ensuring they remain in good condition.
• Work with event owners and agency teams on new fabrication requests.
• Attend events when required to support setup, teardown, logistics, and activation staffing.
• Monitor team budgets and invoices.
• Collaborate on the event calendar to align asset needs, event attendance, and activation ideas.
• Maintain SharePoint, build deck templates, and complete general administrative tasks.

Experience and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant marketing experience; experience in footwear or retail is preferred.
• Background in organizing and supporting events and marketing initiatives.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to prepare and deliver information clearly and respond effectively to managers, clients, and coworkers.
• Experience working in large or complex organizations with competing priorities and varied stakeholder needs.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus solid problem-solving ability.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to support event and promotion execution.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Positive, energetic working style.
• Understanding of current fitness and running industry trends.
• Ability to research competitor activity and gather inspiration from other industries.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $31.15 to $38.94 per hour for the Goleta, California remote market. Final pay will depend on location, experience, skills, and education or training.
