Role Overview

We are looking for a precise and experienced Estimator to join a heavy civil construction team in Richmond Hill, GA. In this role, you will build reliable cost estimates for projects while making sure every pricing and budgeting factor is accounted for. A background in civil engineering, along with practical knowledge of grading, earthwork, and utilities, will be important for success.

What You Will Do

• Create detailed cost estimates for heavy civil construction work.
• Study drawings, plans, and technical specifications to define project scope and requirements.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to collect the information needed for accurate estimates.
• Use B2W and Trimble Business Center to support estimating and project analysis activities.
• Visit job sites and evaluate conditions that may affect scope, cost, or execution.
• Review contracts and agreements to understand obligations and pricing factors.
• Revise estimates when project details change or additional information becomes available.
• Support the preparation of bid submissions and client presentations.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of civil estimating experience across commercial, public, industrial, and environmental projects.
• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Prior success estimating within the heavy civil construction sector.
• Hands-on experience with B2W and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong working knowledge of grading, earthwork, and utility work.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
