Key Responsibilities

• Fit, check, and service wiring, equipment, and electrical systems according to technical requirements and safety guidelines.
• Identify faults and resolve electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and circuit testers.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and keep systems running efficiently.
• Review circuit drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to understand requirements and spot possible concerns.
• Fix or replace defective wires, parts, and equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Test and inspect electrical installations to confirm correct operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate logs of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment condition.
• Work with colleagues and supervisors to plan tasks and support timely completion of assignments.
• Follow all site safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.
• Remain up to date with electrical rules, industry practices, and UAE-specific standards.

Qualifications

• Between 2 and 5 years of practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Ability to use electrical testing and troubleshooting tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit testers.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and wiring methods.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety requirements relevant to the United Arab Emirates.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools commonly needed in electrical work.
• Good organization and time management, with the ability to handle several tasks at once.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a busy environment.
• Valid electrical certification or license is preferred, subject to UAE requirements.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance methods and equipment care.
• Strong focus on workplace safety and compliance with health and safety rules.
