Role Overview

Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort is hiring multiple full-time housekeeping team members to support the expansion of its housekeeping department. This role suits people who are detail-focused, energetic, and proud of maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a team-based setting.

Key Duties

• Clean guest rooms thoroughly to a high standard, including bed making, vacuuming, and bathroom cleaning.
• Finish assigned cleaning work within the time allocated by the business.
• Work closely with teammates to achieve daily room-cleaning targets and operational objectives.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines while working.
• Use cleaning tools, equipment, and products properly and safely; full training and equipment will be provided.
• Maintain courteous and professional working relationships with guests, colleagues, and contractors.

Work Schedule and Pay

• Minimum working hours: 30 hours per week
• Pay rate: $27 NZD per hour
• Shift start time: 9:00 AM
• Roster: rotating schedule from Monday to Sunday

Candidate Profile

Applicants should be reliable, physically capable, and comfortable with repetitive cleaning tasks. The role involves bending, lifting, and standing for long periods, so good stamina is important. Strong communication, time management, and a proactive attitude are also essential. Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is an advantage, but training will be provided for equipment and chemical handling.
