Role Overview

As an EDS Specialist at Worley, you will collaborate with the current team to support client projects while strengthening your own technical expertise. The role centers on Smart3D administration, project support, user assistance, and improving the efficiency and quality of 3D engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the setup, maintenance, and support of the Smart3D environment, ensuring the 3D model system remains stable and functions correctly.
• Configure and oversee new as well as existing engineering projects in Smart3D, both in standalone and workshare environments.
• Handle Smart3D administration tasks including setup, archiving, workshare coordination, and replication.
• Investigate and resolve SP3D software issues while supporting project users with day-to-day technical help.
• Perform database-related maintenance activities for the application.
• Look for ways to improve end-user experience and satisfaction.
• Carry out Smart3D customization to meet project deliverable needs.
• Introduce automation tools that improve project outputs and delivery efficiency.
• Use 3D model reporting to track design quality and project progress.
• Prepare project-specific guidance notes and deliver training for all SP3D modules.
• Understand project scope, timelines, deliverables, milestones, and coordination processes.
• Work closely with leads from other disciplines to ensure smooth coordination.
• An added advantage is experience in SPPID administration alongside S3D administration.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should bring hands-on experience in Smart3D administration and support, along with the ability to coordinate across teams and contribute to project delivery improvements. Familiarity with project workflows, model reporting, customization, and user training will be important for success in this role.
